I have been increasingly aware of the Iraeli-Palestinian conflict since my college days (The American University n DC) n the early-mid 1980s (about 30 years out of the 70 years of the state of Israels existence). I became aware from activists college students who at the time accepted arrests from protesting the South African embassy against their undeniably, institutional, discriminatory, oppressive apartheid regime responsible for the killings of thousands of black South Afrikaners including women & children. At the time there were also human rights discussions about the Israeli- Palestinian conflict; in addition to the Apartheid institution. This video below is a brief simple cartoon summarizing the recent/ modern 20th century origins of this conflict. From my increasing awareness, including my personal research on the topic, this summary is consistent to my exposures on the matter over the past 30 years. I recommend to those less familiar with the issue to watch it as a starting point; from which to build upon by your own self-study/ research to form your own opinion.
