I have been nominated for the 7days of gratitude challenge by my good friend Tender Tots (olukoya olusseyi Yetunde,in which I am expected to thank God for 7 days, stating 3 things I am thankful for while also nominating 4 persons each day for the challenge. First I want to thank God for Him, for making provisions to rescue the human race from eternal damnation. I want to thank him for loving us, even while we were yet sinners,he loved us.So much was this love that he gave himself up in the likeness of man to die for our sins. He sent Jesus Christ to pay for the sins he didnt commit. Daddy,I say I am forever grateful for this gesture. May your throne be highly exalted forever. Secondly, I am thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ for accepting to become a curse in order to remove the eternal curse on us all. For it is written, cursed is he that is hanged on a tree. I am much grateful for the fact that, though being God himself, He didnt consider himself equal with God but came down in obedience and love to give the human race a leeway out of eternal damnation, out of the bondage of sin and out of the penalty of death. Lamb of God I say I am forever grateful. Thirdly, I am very grateful to God for confirming his words with actions by ensuring that all thats written and prophesied about Christ was/is fulfilled. I thank God for not letting the body of Jesus see corruption thereby ensuring the fulfilment of the prophesy of David in psalm 16:10 for You will not abandon my soul to sheol,or let your holy one see corruption. And with that single act You gave Jesus the power and authority over death, there by becoming over life and over death. For he has since been bestowed with the power to give life and death to his sheep.For all these I say thank You Lord,for you reign supreme over all earth and Your mercies endures forever. You are indeed the I am that I am. I am therefore nominating Abiodun Oloyede ,Adedoyinsola Abon Eleshin ,Adejumo Benjamin and Adenike Yusuff for the 7 days of gratitude challenge..you are expected to say 3 things you are thankful for each day for 7 days and nominate 4 people each day to do same.
