I have been on the phone for hours over the past 2 days (and today) with Humana, Cigna and United Healthcare. All of those companies have told me that as of right now they have not been able to "test" their software and how it interacts with the government "Obamacare" exchange/marketplace software. They are all pretty much in panic mode. Cigna even said that they do not expect to be ready for sales through the exchange until approx Nov 1. I would STRONGLY suggest that no one do ANYTHING regarding signing up for insurance coverage THROUGH Obamacare until after NOV 1. Not a big deal since coverage does not start till January 1 anyway. No reason to rush, let them work out all the bugs.
