I have been participating in a very interesting group on Goodreads called Underground Knowledge: discussion group. It is run by James and Lance Morcan, authors of the Orphan Trilogies. It is a discussion of conspiracy theories, or rather conspiracies that few people are aware of, conspiracies like Illuminati, New World Order, MK-Ultra, mind-control, and ritual abuse. There is a section now on ritual abuse. James and Lance are extremely knowledgeable about many topics, but ritual abuse is fairly new to them. Recently ritual abuse advocate Timothy Spearman joined the discussion on ritual abuse. I was concerned and questioned his choice of names for his radio station Knights of Liberty. This is the same name of an offshoot of the Ku Klux Klan. I was also concerned that one of his posts was a list of fairy tale references. I confronted him with my concerns noting that he surely would know that survivors are often triggered using fairy tale references. I am sharing this because I feel it would be very worthwhile to have survivors and others who are well versed on the topic of ritual abuse join this group, however I would want it to be clear that there are no trigger warnings for survivors, and any who might like to join such groups in hopes of triggering survivors may be found there. Consider this an invitation to join, and a trigger warning. I have spoken to James about trigger warnings. He tells me he has no interest in moderating. He wants the group to be completely open, even to the ignorant. He tells me there is an openly offensive Neo-Nazi in one of his groups. While he would like him to leave, he stands by the right for this pinhead to have his ignorant say. If you feel you are equipped to educate and learn without it being to self destructive, come join us!
