I have been really convicted lately on how liberally we as Christians throw off the accountability we are called to have in our lives for our lifestyles. Our lives shouldnt be lived for the approval of man as our source of acceptance and security. BUT we ARE called as Gods disciples to be the visible and vocal example of the gospel in action. To say, dont judge me or live with a belief that our lives dont have to be explainable to those around us is completely unbiblical. How can non-believers and the lost come to know Christ if there is not a standard of living that they can see, glean from, and come to understand Gods heart through? Paul on numerous occasions throughout Scripture implores believers to live in a way that will lift others to know God and live for Him in a greater way. How I live, what i say, watch, entertain is vitally important to sharing the gospel with the world around me. I either guide others to God or away from Him in everything I do. I want people to see Christ, not me. (Forgive my numerous grammar flaws grammar experts haha)
