I have been searching on behalf of my mother (Orrell (Doris or Irma) Peters) was born at Grace Maternity in Halifax Nova Scotia on June 14 1931, she was not really adopted, but more just handed over to Minnie(Irene) and Arthur Peters of Nova Scotia. The birth mom registered herself as Irene Peters in the hospital. It has been told that Minnie and the birth mom convinced the Doctor to say the baby belonged to Minnie so we do not have any names to search. When my mother asked for her non I.D.info, she was told it appeared she was not adopted, and was sent her long form birth certificate .I have checked my DNA with one of Minnies s relations and we dont match. These pictures are all I have on my computer right now, but will upload more recent ones when I find some, but thought childhood pictures might be a good idea! Mothers kit number is M513628, if someone can look at the matches and give some help, it would be appreciated very much. Thanks
