I have been so happy lately attending Southeast Christian Church. The special classes and support groups they have for divorced parents and for moms who have been through abuse during marriage are just great. I have really started to love myself again and get back the Natalie I havent seen in a while. I wish I had done something about it a few years ago before it costs me my job that I loved so much as a surg tech and the relationships I had with my friends. Its a shame that I let one person change me, ruin me, put me down, mistreat our kids, and make me so bitter. Through church Ive learned to let my anger go, move forward, and put the past behind me. Im concentrating on me and my kids, and no one can stop me. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers and guiding me through this crazy, hectic, heart breaking last 5 years. And to some of my friends and co workers, Im so sorry I just ignored you. I was so depressed and just didnt know how to deal with it all. I wasnt myself. I was like this negative person I had never known before. But, Im moving on and hopefully god will tell someone to give me a second chance at creating new friendships, a new relationship, and my career. And to any girl out there thats in a abusive relationship and is told they arent good enough, just get out. Especially if kids are involved.
