I have been there to help someone through an illness, to observe the beauty of a birth, to hold a hand of a dying person, to cuddle a sick child, to console a family in the grieving of their dying loved one, to help a patient through a mental crisis, to give redirection to a confused elderly person, to give encouragement to a child who was incarcerated and felt no hope. Each of the patients and their families who open up to me, share their lives, their vulnerabilities and their time make me so appreciative of them. I learnt many life lessons from simple to medically complex patients. Im also thankful for all the wonderful gifts, well-wishes, trinkets and yummy goodies bought solely for me during some/every of your visit to the insitute. Thank you for not forgetting me. So you see, I do have much to be thankful for.. =) 爱死你们了!!! May all of you be blessed with love, health and strength. *kisses*
