I have been thinking a lot about my 10 year reunion coming up in a few months and it really has made me think all that I have been through in the past 10 years. I have been married for 8 years, been a mother for almost. I am a successful business owner and homeowner. I have survived multiple tragedies and overcome, I have lost a parent. I watch my children struggle everyday and still keep going. I have been through multiple deployments and multiple moves across the county. I have laughed and I have cried with friends who are still here with us and those who have passed on. I have lost a child and I have watched my daughter almost die in front of my eyes and yet she is a amazing survivor today. Its not a competition on who has been through the most. I just know what I have been through and have survived. I will never been the 18 year old girl 10 years ago who wanted to get away from home and go to school at UCLA. I miss that girl and I know she doesnt exist anymore. She has become a lot harder over the years and has so much more to worry about. I have learned that you have to take each day as it comes and you can never plan, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Things will never go as you plan and there is no point in trying to do so. I wouldnt change any of it and thats because I wouldnt have my three kids wonderful kids.
