I have been thinking about Jesus who said: Forgive them for they - TopicsExpress

I have been thinking about Jesus who said: Forgive them for they know not what they do. I think this is final proof in a Christian society, that the word ignorance is WRONGLY interpreted in the Oxford English Dictionary because otherwise, Jesus would have said simply; Forgive them because they are ignorant. Here we have a CLEAR example that not-knowing does NOT equal ignorance. The TRUE interpretation of ignorance is to IGNORE KNOWLEDGE. I think also, it is important to recognise the truth that although people may hurt us badly & deeply, they often have no idea of the damage they are causing and in forgiving, we do not ignore or belittle the damage, we address it and take responsibility to amend & repair - this includes educating offenders and helping them to live more compassionately. Too many have used knowledge for personal empowerment and in that process they IGNORE theUniversal Rights (Universal Ethics of Compassion) of life. Millions of native peoples were judged ignorant = HEATHEN = unworthy of RIGHTS in the eyes of God, just because they had no knowledge of Western education. Millions of British and Irish people were robbed of their rights to common lands and common law again, because they were judged IGNORANT and therefore, unworthy of RIGHTS. People seriously NEED to wake-up to the fact that the present interpretation of the word ignorance is not only WRONG, it is a LEGAL JUDGEMENT that bears down like a WEIGHT on every UK and Global citizen: In the eyes of corporate-law, ignorance is NO defence - which means not-knowing is legally recognised as individual NEGLIGENCE i.e. the individual human is held responsible for NOT KNOWING ands for whatever misdemeanors they may commit in their not-knowing. When people do not know they are MYSTIFIED and mystification is NOT a personal responsibility when we have NO MEANS OF KNOWING. We each have a DUTY to learn what ever we can and to SHARE that knowledge FREELY. https://facebook/notes/deborah-mahmoudieh/please-read-share-widely-it-seems-like-just-a-little-thing-except-the-misinterpr/608504075880043
