I have been thinking about momentum. I imagine a novice mathematician could make equations of sorts, based on the momentum in peoples lives which could be subjectively drawn from interviews of set amounts of particular questions about momentum, 10 questions for example, per subject, possibly chosen by the subject from a range of questions and the questions could be posed as answerable on a scale of say 1-10. The mathematician could then take these answers and arrange them in the form of an equation and then replicate that equation in a structure of different shaped, sized and coloured objects, representing the variables of the equation and then present it as an artists gift. The gift may have a card attached which may say: This is you. Based on a concept of momentum, this is a small and incomplete reflection of you, without recognisable words or images to colour or shade your perception in any particular way, apart from the words on this card, and this tiny presumption of numbers says that you are a vast and diversely varied, splendid thing.
