To anyone who has been following along with the drama of the proposed changes to the GAAMPs for Michigan, which would ultimately deny right to farm protection for the majority of Michigan farmers, here is the latest. The vote for the GAAMPs were scheduled for today. The site selection GAAMPs vote has been pushed to some time in April, for the commissioners to be better informed. They did not feel comfortable voting at this time, based on the enormous amount of public comment. So if you helped with that, I thank you! We now know they are taking us seriously. Well continue to inform them, and try to give them all the information they need to make an informed decision next month. Thank you all again who helped.
