I have been to the orthopedic doctor and have good news about my foot/ankle. The honeycomb insides of my cuboid bone have been bruised which means lots of tiny micro-fractures and the bone surface is okay. Good news is that I just need to keep it wrapped in ace bandage and start to do exercises to strengthen the muscles. It will just take about 6 months to totally heal itself. I am really relieved all is well...it is going to be a great new year!!!
