I have been trying to figure out one ingredient that made CoH such a great experience to play that I have found lacking in other games. It dawned upon me as I was trying to grind for gear in another game what that missing piece is. Generosity. The game truly promoted generosity among players. Since the game was about the character, and not you are what gear you wear, gear was just spice and color! If you really needed something for crafting , there was always someone to lend a hand, give you some inf, trade you mats or spend a few hours of time to help you get what you needed that could only be found at the end of a TF. The Game itself ( and devs) generously provided new content, and rewards for playing.This is one of the things that bonded the players, the teams , the SGs and the CoH community as a whole.
