I have been watching some little snibits of CPAC and Jesus Republicans are so out of touch with the average person. Its gonna take more than saying Obama and Obama care sucks to win elections. Until they learn that with out reaching out to Hispanics and letting them know they are gonna provide a path to citizenship, and let Gays know that they are an equal member of our society and should be afforded those rights and those rights by the same name, and that there is a enormous demographic in this country who have no and want no relationship with Jesus and that demographic is growing everyday and that we dont want bureaucrats in our personal lives telling us the right way to live or how to or who to worship then they are gonna fall short. Tell me how your gonna balance the budget and put an end to Obama care and after that how are you going to make insurance and health care more affordable? Tell me how you plan on keeping America out of every conflict amongst the world and keep our standing and military the best on the planet? How you are gonna cut taxes? How about telling us how you plan on doing anything no one since Reagan has been able to do? The problem with conservatives is they are as addicted to spending our money as Liberals are, they just spend it on different things. They are non-differentiable from Democrats in my view. I am growing less and less interested in politics because I find less and less I respect about any of the people who are in them. I guess its back to my books. Its either news TV or reality shows and they are both so phony they make the musical Cats look like a natural geographic program. I havent read Lonesome Dove in a few years and Gus always makes me laugh and think. I have read that book no less than 9 times and I always learn something knew from him. Ok folks looks like I am about run a heard from south Texas to Montany... Wish me luck.
