I have been working in Korea almost 5 years on orders with the Department of Defense, and have 2 years left on my contract. Got remarried 5 months ago to foreign national. Applied for TOURIST visa for my wife to visit my family back in U.S over the Holidays and meet my kids. Provided them copies of round trip tickets, copies of my DoD orders showing her as my dependant and included a letter clearly explaining we were going only for 2 weeks to visit my kids - DENIED! Why, because she is married to U.S. Citizen.. 5 million Mexicans illegally stroll across the border without passport, no problem, welcome to America.
