I have blue paint in my eyelashes this morning. I hate that. Four heroes gathered to paint the back wall of the Linden House set last night. The wall started off black and needed to be a sunny blue. Im afraid it was all my idea. They tried to talk me out of it, but they couldnt, so they bit the bullet. Still, I knew I was going to end up unpopular if it all went wrong. In the event, it wasnt too bad. The worst moment was about an hour in, when we mournfully agreed that the ceiling bit needed painting as well as the wall. Thats when it started to rain blue paint (hence the blue eyelashes, above). Anyway, the unanimous conclusion is that the wall doesnt need a second coat! A second coat would ruin the fine texture, we all agreed. Only a few more rehearsals till the Preview of Jack Straw on Wednesday next. You should come, if only to see the paint job.
