I have come to the conclusion that I like the idea of ACA much better than the reality of it. This comes from the same line of thought that I put forward regarding Obama himself. I liked the rhetoric much better than the actual performance. The design of healthcare.gov points toward some Orwellian malfeasance that brings to mind the NSA and homebody security. I dont like it, I dont like it at all. I cant lay a finger on exactly what stinks, since I have not been able to actually access the site, but if Amazon can build and implement a system which can handle all of the things they sell online and get them to your door in a day or three, then processing the purchase of an insurance policy should be pretty darn easy. State Farm, Allstate, Progressive, Farmers and several others seem to manage that on a daily basis. This begs the question of what exactly is going on behind the scenes? Mr President, what happened to that transparency policy you promised?
