I have cut this from an internal conversation on the NoGMOsa - TopicsExpress

I have cut this from an internal conversation on the NoGMOsa page… because of its spontaneous thought process. This is not my own thoughts, but I find my own experience in Africa agreeing with these thoughts and observations. ….Maslow didnt refer to a pyramid. According to the wiki summary, he used layers which were interchangeable. Where did i say we have to focus on nature? Ive travelled, on less than a shoestring, & then through africa, eaten with people who have their time old traditions, getting bulldozed with american ideals & UN agendas, while theyre plundered, their culture destroyed forced into some shitty boring school so UN can claim how many people are educated, western education btw. They were self sufficient, had their own healers, they were communities, had a sense of belonging & a sense of purpose, fulfilment, made music & art, which is now just a tourist attraction for a few cents, their wells are poisoned, foreign politics imposed on them, their children now think their parents are inferior, they get their education, go to cities, cant find a job, slums grow. Some go back to their villages or mountains or deserts, they have no survival skills, they didnt learn the survival tricks or farming from their parents & they end up scratching a living, disillusioned & dispossesed,. Im talking about the 99%. I think europeans & americans, as a minority group in terms of global population, should realize that their way has failed, its not superior in any way, its just different. We have a lot to learn from other cultures, we should be teaching our kids these skills, the evolved & sophisticated systems within older cultures, ecological agricullture & real ecology, not bombarding them with ads to lighten their skins. Were so arrogant. Our whole system destroys people & communities, it is stressful, how can we learn to care for ourselves, let alone others. Who says we have to go thru another industrial revolution with workers. Weve seen what it does. Its a scam. When resources run out, there will be war anyway. What if were all working & equal & we all care about each other & we all want a 3 story house & an SUV? Its not realistic right from the start & thus doomed to failuire. Many things need shifting, we need to examine the words we use, like work. Learn skills, earn a living, produce something, not just consume, we need science, for clean energy, for communication, transport, to produce as efficiently as possible, using the least resources, recycling all waste, - what a creative challenge, incorporate cultural biodiversity & traditions & teach ecology, & thru living in a more holistic paradigm, people will be more compassionate towards each other. Look what Abalima beZekhaya has done, or what Live wants to do - bellies full of good food from a small plot local economy, dignity, caring, fulfillment etc….
