I have done very well in my greeting card business the last 10 1/2 years.....but the last year and a half I have done even better. I won SO many awards in 2014.....SO amazingly blessed, honored and humbled at all of them, and SO appreciative..... Someone made a comment to me about it, and about how I *did so well* since my husband Bryan Delk passed away. I at first, was very happy I was, thinking of him and thinking of him always saying I want to see you smile and knowing hed be proud of me, watching over me. I let that comment *sink* in my mind.....I started feeling *guilty* for having *success* after his loss (looking at it *from* his loss)..... This weekend, at the event, one of the speakers said Make the worst day of your life, the jumping board for the best days of your life. I am choosing to do that. I know that is what God wants, and that is what Bryan would want. He wants to see me succeed, he wants to see me smile, there is nothing to gain and no reason for me to feel guilty for my success and the good that God blesses me with. I know where it all comes from, and I happily give Him all the credit. This day forward, I move forward into my success and am ready and willing to accept and believe and achieve it, humbly and happily. I am so thankful for all my friends, family and mentors that are always here for me, and cheering me on, whether I am in a good day or a not so good day to help me *see*, when I dont see best for myself.
