I have failed at many things in my life, some because I am so passionate. Willing to lay it all on the line for what I believe, not guided by any other force other than what I deem to be the right thing. I am absolutely sure that sometimes things that I thought were the right thing, were probably in fact wrong. The willingness to admit that is a great equalizer. I come full circle with my intentions to make all things as right as possible. My political feelings, my business life, my family life and my spritual being. The fact that I am willing to risk it all as far as how others perceive me, I hope stands for something. Thats the thing, standing for something in front of those who may disagree with you, and could actually cost you something, means more than being a coward who stands for something in the comfort of his own mind. My father used to tell me a smart man never lets everybody know all they are thinking , this I believe to be true. I also believe that being a wise man is not why I was sent to this earth. To be an honest man carries more weight for me. One that stands for something, even if it costs you something. Those that know me, know there isnt much I dont let be known. I believe the beauty of that is, you get what you see or hear. No back door thoughts, waiting to suprise you. I want to leave my mark on my family, my county, my state , my country and this earth. No matter how small that mark is it will be my own. Not some preprogrammed script, but a relentless pursuit of the truth of life. If I hair lip every cow in Texas, atleast you will know where I stand, not some shell of a man whose strings are pulled by others.
