I have finally decided what my next projects will be for Building - TopicsExpress

I have finally decided what my next projects will be for Building in the Past. In eleven years, facades of historic buildings in 13 locations of 9 Western States have been recreated in miniature using high fire ceramics, wood, metal, and glass. Two or more copies of most of the buildings were made in order to potentially sell one and keep the other for the representative collection. I am hoping that someday the collection can be displayed at Western history themed museums or galleries. Wyoming and Washington will have their first representation in the collection. These building and their copies will take at least two years to complete as there are many steps to the process and I do have a real job. Green River Wyoming; The old Morris Mercantile Bank with its Moorish Revival towers was constructed in 1900. It was part of the Sweetwater Brewery complex and is the only portion remaining and on the National Register. Ill add more info on Green river and the building in the comments below. Fort Worden, near Port Townsend, Washington; Alexanders Castle. According to legend, Reverend John Alexander Built the castle for a prospective Scottish bride reminiscent of his native country. in 1883 he acquired ten acres of land near Point Wilson and constructed the building intending for it to serve as home for him and his bride. Traveling to Scotland to get his bride, he found that she had married another. He returned to Port Townsend alone and used the building as a temporary residence. During Fort Wordens Army days, the building was used for a variety of purposes including a Post office and tailor shop. Refurbished in 2005, the State Park offers the building and grounds for lodging and weddings. More info in the comments below.
