We want to take a moment and say thank your for your generous financial support of No Longer Orphans. Without your support we would be unable to accomplish so much for our boys. Here are a few things that we have been able to accomplish through your generosity this year! Through an animal initiative we felt led to start a farm that would enable us to grow some of our food and create a sustaining model for the future. Your direct financial commitment enabled us to purchase the following: 800 chickens, 4 water buffalos, and 4 goats (we now have 5 because one gave birth). We built new pens and cages for all the animals. We repaired 124 feet of our 8-foot high perimeter wall that had fallen down. Additionally we have had much needed repair work done to the living quarters, house, and infrastructure. It has been a number of years since repairs have been done and with just a small amount of money we have been able to accomplish so much. One of the last initiatives for the year was spearheaded by several of our supporters. They wanted to ensure that all the boys had a Christmas present and through these efforts we were able to purchase new bicycles for all the boys! As you can see things have been busy the past few months. We have been blessed to be able to provide a better life for our boys, and without your ongoing financial support this is not possible.
