Hey, hey, hey! So here are pics from the final day of Women in the World 2014. Here I am interviewing two incredibly inspiring ladies on stage, Asenath Andrews who runs an AMAZING school for teen mothers that includes travel abroad, farming and gardening programs in addition to traditional academic classes, and Jessica Matthews who has invented a soccer ball AND jumprope that can both be used as POWER SOURCES. How about that? Shes like a real life Albert Einstein! And here is a pic of me interviewing Roger Ross Williams, the ONLY African American filmmaker to win an Academy Award for directing and producing. His film is about a young female, disabled musician who used her struggles to become an advocate for others with disabilities. All in all it was an exhausting but invigorating and inspiring few days! Girl Power! : ) Hope your weekend was swell. xox
