I have finally figure out the problem we have here in the Bahamas. We are a small country but acting and thinking as if we were big, functioning like we are industrialized but operating like we are children (asking everyone for help instead of figuring out what to do). We scrutinize and pull down anyone who tries to rise up and make things happen. The ole folks are discouraging, the young folks are discouraged. The wrong seems right and right has always been wrong. People smile at you and are not truly happy for you. Love is lost hate is ever abound. work ethics has been kicked out and slackness is ever present. Working for Government, and Atlantis is the highest achievement for the common Bahamian and those who decide to do a business (landscaping, interior decorating, etc) obtaining a LYFORD cay connection is the pinnacle in the business world here in the Bahamas. This little rock is not the world but our people make themselves to believe this is the World. I am sick of this place. I will soon move from this peasant minded mentality of a country. I am leaving... this place does not make any sense to me. The people is where ya put me and the ones who are in charge... Lord knows they are...
