I have for sale a rebuilt 86-88 non turbo 6 port engine block. This was built as a budget engine from used components I had laying around. This engine should last a few years and develop good to mediocre compression after break in, and is meant to be an improvement over a tired/unknown original engine but not as good as a high dollar rebuild utilizing nicer/new parts. It got new 2mm atkins apex seals, new OEM inner coolant seals and atkins outer coolant seals/etc., new atkins viton oil orings, and new atkins corner seal rubber plugs. The corner seals, 93+ corner springs, side seals and springs were all used from a low mile mazda reman engine. The rotors, main bearings/gears, shaft, irons, and rotor housings were used with approx 125-150k miles from one or more core engines Ive torn down over the years. Block was coolant system pressure tested overnight and also endplay checked twice. Compression was tested on both chambers (the numbers are artificially high due to assembly oil in the chambers, but the test demonstrates even compression between faces). Selling out the door with no core exchange required. However if you have one or more engine cores or core parts from 86-08 rotary engines I will consider offering some credit for the usable parts. I would need to see the cores/parts before making such an offer. Price is $1500 plus actual shipping costs. The engine must be picked up in east TN, or we can ship it via semi truck freight for $175 to most east coast locations or $250 to the west coast. Not interested in international shipping, sorry.
