I have found myself on certain days, wanting to unfriend a many of you. Because on that very day, at that very moment, your snippet that you shared seemed perfectly perfect and I was waist deep in my own version of life that seemed polar opposite of yours. I even thunk the thoughts, Get over yourself would you please, out of sheer desperation. You fraud. Obviously, it is a Its me not you, type-of-thing. Well friend... Life IS perfectly perfect some days, isnt it? We all have a version of it and the perspective we choose to snapshot any one particular day IS ours. It is not necessarily being fake, it is just where we choose to put our focus. The shutter snaps quickly these days and the moments blur together so we must choose wisely where and what and who we focus on. There is not one of us more important, valued or esteemed than the other. We all have dirty laundry and dirt under the rugs...literally and figuratively. We all have those ugly, we wish-they-would-end moments and seasons of hard but we also are so incredibly allowed to be joyful and happy and proud of the little but significant lives we each have. So if we look at each others snapshots of life that we choose to reveal, we also must know...we each fight a hard battle some days behind the smile. Behind that perfect post and beautiful moment, real life is happening. So in that second I think of passing you by because my reality is a little edgy and raw and you are that particularly happy person on my very hard day, I will remind myself to rejoice when others rejoice. We all take turns. WE. ALL. TAKE. OUR. TURN.
