I have gained three insights in the past 12 hours. 1. The gravity of humanity has reversed. Gravity is the effect of large objects occupying space so that space curves around the object. The larger the object, the more space curves, so the more intense the gravity. I grew up in the 20th century, when there were very few objects that shaped the space, so I grew up in scarcity, especially information scarcity. However, I lived in social abundance: I have a large family and I had many friends/relatives I interacted with daily. Whenever we experience social abundance within a condition of material and information scarcity, it is natural to value whatever is scarce by trying to accumulate as much of it as possible and taking the abundance for granted. Gravity has reversed because we now live with information and material abundance, but social scarcity. When we live in information and material scarcity, we value the information because it points to objective reality and it helps us gain material abundance. When we live in information and material abundance, information loses its value and objective reality ceases to exist. In place of objective reality, we live in inter-subjective reality and subjective reality. When gravity reverses, instead of trying to achieve something outside of yourself (more money, more possessions, academic honors, professional titles, etc.), you try to achieve something inside yourself: love, acceptance, joy, peace, balance, harmony, inner peace, connection, etc. The reversal of gravity has occurred because we now have access to infinite information and we share information in infinite ways, but we have fewer daily social interactions, so the inner journey has replaced the outer journey for nearly everyone. I assumed that I could not start the inner journey until I completed the outer journey first. I also assumed that once the outer journey was finished, I would automatically gain both material and social wealth because the outer journey was more valuable than the inner journey. Now, in contrast, the inner journey is more valuable than the outer journey for humanity. 2. Subjectivity and inter-subjectivity are more powerful than objectivity. My ability to express myself and reveal my inner world is now more important than my ability to analyze the world around me and arrive at truths about “objective reality.” My ability to connect with someone who expresses their subjective experience is now more important than my ability to analyze their experience and place labels on it for the sake of comparison. My receptivity to other people is now valued more than my ability to change other people with cogent analysis. Analysis distances me from other person because the method of analysis is to place experience into a box, then label the box and show the causal relationship between this box and another box. What is more valuable now is for me to eliminate the distance between me and another person by not placing that person in a box to be analyzed. The cost to me and us: we lose the ability to understand cause and effect. The benefit: we experience greater connection to each other and rely on spirit, The Universe, and God to help us understand cause and effect. The locus of control moves out of the mind and into the heart connection between me and another person, then into our connection with all of life around us. 3. When you shift the locus of control from your mind to your heart connection and your connection with God, God answers prayers quickly and miracles happen frequently. Every day becomes a miracle and every hour becomes luminous with mystical possibility. You can get to the same place with your mind through analysis, but it is a slower journey and you have to wait for the connection with other people to occur after you finish analyzing. The heart builds bridges while the mind takes you off the bridge so you can see the bridge and study it. Now that gravity has reversed, going within is a much more fruitful way of connecting with people than accumulating outward accomplishments and analyzing everything.
