I have had a lot of questions of late as to the meaning of colours - TopicsExpress

I have had a lot of questions of late as to the meaning of colours seen in the aura of people and as indicated within the psychic artwork. Firstly it’s important to note that though I have built up my understanding of colours for the better part of eighteen years, you need to ascertain what the colours mean to you and stick to them. Personally I do not believe the colours associated to the chakra’s are in anyway related to the colours displayed in a person’s aura. For me this was a silly notion to undertake, being that we have seven main chakras, coupled with their being seven colours of the rainbow, and associating the two together was I feel a wrong decision, it would have saved a lot of confusion if they had instead been numbered from one through seven or A through G. The seven main chakras correlate with the major nerve plexuses, essentially an organisation of connected nerve fibres that link to and thus connect nerves within the spinal column with specific areas of the body and thus enable organs of the body to be supplied with nerves and thus allow communication between the peripheral nervous system and the central nervous system; the latter incorporating the brain and spinal column. To me it would be more feasible to suggest that colours seen in the aura being a result of light being refracted through what is essentially a bag of water, in that we are, and depending upon which book or webpage you visit, are approximately seventy percent water. People I feel, and bearing in mind I have already stated that colours are subjective and thus dependent upon how each person views and thus reaches a conclusion as to their interpretation; can become confused as to the meaning of colour based upon the chakras. As violet is associated with the chakra to the top of the head then then people naturally associate violets and purples as being a spiritual colour, and perhaps wrongly appending a spiritual or religious interpretation with that colour. When viewing a person’s aura, most of the colours are perceived around the head and top of the shoulders, one reason for this being the presence of the cranial nerves, there is therefore a lot of electrical stimulus taking place, brain activity and so forth. Even religious paintings depict this with halos being associated with Jesus and his disciples. If we consider chakras as being metaphysical, I say this because a surgeon once said to me “I cut bodies open to undertake surgery and not once have I had to clamp a chakra out of the way carry out the work”. Thus expanding on this and taking on the belief that we have within us a spirit that in itself gives life to the physical body, after all are we not a spiritual being undertaking a physical experience? To me the body itself with all its constituent parts are responsible for the vast array of colours seen around the body, if the chakras were primarily responsible then would it not be fair to say that violet and its derivative hues would only been seen around the head, and the various hues of red only around the groin, lower abdomen and legs. For example, muscles are rich in myoglobin, a protein that binds iron with oxygen and gives the muscles their distinctive red colouring. As such when there is an illness, for example muscle fatigue, then the colour displayed in the muscles displays as a deep wine red colour, whilst injury to the muscle in a superficial way, a strain for example displays as a mid to light red and displaying in a “wishy washy” way, similar to red ink being dropped into a glass of water. On the other hand the colour purple for example represents a person with high standards. Using the analogy of a nurse making hospital corners, a person with a lot of purple will have to have the hospital corner at exactly ninety degrees as nothing else will do. Further to this when coming into contact with another person doing the same work, if their hospital corners and not exactly ninety degrees the “purple” person is apt to become annoyed and do the job themselves or tell the person to do it properly. Purple people tend to push themselves hard, physically as well as emotionally. The colour orange, essentially moving from the lower end of the visible light spectrum and into the yellows, has to me always indicated a person that is losing weight, being more noticeable in women than men, due in part to the increase in oestrogen in the body, when coupled with an olive green can indicate menstration . The various hues of blue can give a varied array of interpretations and like all the colours it can be dependent upon their placement around the body. Most people, including myself see blue as a communication colour, though not directly associated with the throat charka. The lighter hues of blue to me indicate a person who talks a lot, not liking those odd silences when in the car or such. The deeper hues of blue have come to mean a person who has acquired a lot of compassion as well as being indicative of communication issues. There are also indications of illness with blues, the lighter hue of blue being associated with osteoporosis whilst a bright vivid blue can be indicative of irritable bowel syndrome. Determining what the colours mean to you is important, for whatever you assign to each hue of a colour MUST be the same for each person you see the hue with. Having a strong psychic ability helps to reach a conclusion as to what each colour means, lots of practice too. It has taken me a little over eighteen years of constant practice and pushing my own understanding of how the body works, so much in fact that I am about to finish my first year of a science degree through the open university on the topic of health sciences. The main reason for this is that over the years I have become more aware of the colours I am seeing around people and their association with the physical body, hence scientific concepts are coming to the fore and becoming more important, and when correlated with the psychic abilities can eventually lead to science and mediumship coming closer together. I feel a lot more exploration needs to be done on this topic, with mediums/intuitives standing up for their convictions and the scientific community to take a more open minded viewpoint to encourage this.
