I have had cause to ask each time the issue of who to vote as president come 2015 arises- If Nigeria were to be your personal business, will you retain a Goodluck Jonathan to manage it and would you have employed him at all? Even the ardent of the incumbents supporters having assimilated the question cannot convincingly say yes. Lets ask ourselves this question and do a thorough soul searching instead of calling ourselves names here but be objective. I refuse to believe the incumbent is the best a nation of about 170 million people can produce as president. It is also noteworthy that the outcome of the coming election will make a big statement of who we are as a people provided it is largely free and fair.- Is Nigeria a nation of serious people? With all due respect, I believe the incumbent is doing his very best but is his best good enough? The truth is that you cannot give what you dont have. Im not going to reel out all the good and bad because the list is exhaustive but again the question is, If Nigeria were your personal concern will you give a Gooduck Jonathan another chance to manage? If your honest answer is Yes please go ahead and cast your vote for him come February 2015 without hate for those with different views. For me and without any doubt the answer is NO. I strongly doubt if Mr. Jonathan is convinced he can do better than hes doing. Because of the dearth of aspirants, I decided that whoever comes up as an alternative with proven record of performance I will cast my only vote for and be optimistic for a better Nigeria. As it is, if the election for the office of the president is today I will vote Buhari. In another four years I may decide otherwise
