I have had several requests from those of you that live out of state, wanting to know how to pay for a 5k t-shirt online. We have set up a gofundme account for that purpose. The money from the t-shirt sales will go directly towards the final payment of Baleys headstone. Also, there were several of you that requested wristbands, but I do not have your address to mail them out so please message me as well. I want to keep everyone updated on where we stand because it is your generosity that has brought us to this point. As of today, the $1,125 for Baleys burial plot is paid in full and the first loan taken out to cover the $8,000 estimated funeral home expenses is now paid in full. Another loan was taken out to cover the additional funeral home expenses that we were surprised with, and we currently owe $1,799.72 on that. This is the primary focus of my debt snowball, as facing a monthly payment for Baleys funeral home expenses is something I no longer want to look at. Once this is paid off, we can focus on Baleys headstone, which is much less upsetting of a payment to have. I am still shocked that his expenses totaled $17,000! Many of you know that we are in the beginning stages of starting Baleys Faith Foundation in Baleys memory. While we dont want the focus of his foundation to be solely on such a heartbreaking area, one of the things that we will be assisting with is burial expenses for children. Losing a child is the most devastating thing a parent can go through, but getting hit with over ten thousand dollars of expenses that have to be paid in a matter of days just adds to the difficulty. Thank you again for the cards, thoughts, prayers, meals, and support it truly means so much to us.
