I have had the pleasure to meet and now work with an amazing young woman Marie and to also meet her beautiful loving family. Id like to share Maries story. Her family lost their home months ago due to a fire. They had 4 dogs one in which woke up Marie and saved her life where she and a neighbor continued to save her moms life where they got her out of a window. Her mom just had hip replacement surgery and came home from hospital just 2 days b4 this fire. The house burned down in only 7 minutes and unfortunately the dogs including the one that saved Marie did not get out. Nothing was saved from this fire not a cell phone... a purse....nothing. This amazing family of 5 has spirits beyond belief. Never complain or never bitter when they have every reason to be.Today Maries mom and dad came to work and handed Marie a puppy. Her father said, this is Hope and she is for you and your sister. Now we have Faith, a dog they got after the fire,and this is Hope and tomorrow we are getting Chairity. They will have 3 new dogs. I cannot explain how amazing it was to experience this gift to Marie from her dad. I was standing there in her office and just wanted to cry over how beautiful it was. This amazing family is rebuilding their home and their family all with smiles on their face. I have learned so much from so many ppl in my life but I cant explain how much this family has taught me over the last 2 months. Marie, I am so proud and honored to be your friend and experience the love of your family. And I am so fortunate to work with you and I get hang out with Hope too. You and your family have touched my heart like you may never realize and I appreciate what u have taught me. The true meaning of strength.
