I have had to call the renters association about the corporate office for our complex. I am pretty sure that at least some of what they are doing is illegal, and now I fear they may retaliate. It is just one thing after another lately. We just signed a 6 month lease last month, and now I am wishing we had gone ahead and moved..but the money I had then is gone now, so that option is gone. I may very well need to get an attorney, because if I am right that they are breaking renters laws, this will be a class action lawsuit. SO many other renters are moving out. The managers are being threatened with being fired, because I, (and I am sure others) have been pushing for questions, and corporate doesnt like it that the managers agree with the renters. So...Now I wait for my phone call from the Community Alliance of Tenants. I am a memeber, so I should be able to talk to someone within two business days.. Advice and a voice of support would both be greatly appreciated. I am kinda scared right now..
