I have hiked so many times, but something about todays hike was spectacular. I cannot say it was the fact that it was a total novel trail unto my feet...nor can I say its because it was beyond intense and massively brutally difficult to climb or that it us 5 hours max to hike all the way from Kirstenbosch skeleton Gorge up to Platterkloof Gorge(Town). I think it was more of choosing to give up or go on,more of personal acknowledgment of my own strength and the ability to let go and let loose even when we got lost in between trails. I have to say, I respect people who hike up the trail. That trail is mean. Rock climbing,ladder climbing....I am dead alive but the experience and adventure was worth it!
