I have imagined this picture since I was 15 and did an experiment with the San Bernardino Valley Amateur Astronomers to photograph Delta Aquarid meteors from multiple sites. I knew trig by then, but I still had to figure out the best site geometry using a 3-D model of thread and styrofoam. This is one of the things I wanted to see: a map of the radiants in the sky. This is based on meteor radar data and shows the Persieds as well as some other radiants in the south. If you saw these other streams during the Persieds, you would just think they were sporadics (as some indeed are), but there are other streams. A movie of this with one frame/day would be fascinating. It is a map of old comet and asteroid orbits intersecting with the orbit of the Earth. spaceweather/images2014/12aug14/radar.png?PHPSESSID=d1kfho5b5ojf6sbi9j0vjpa4m2
