I have just been involved in a debate on the Siaya gubernatorial seat and one of my findings is that the people are voting party not performance but am afraid this will still derail development in our region. Having it in mind that Siaya was ranked one of the worst performing counties,i viewed the court ruling as an opportunity for change,we need competent,aggressive and development oriented persons who can revolve this county from a poor region to an industrialised place where all its resident can leave equaly and independently as we extract our resourse and use them within. We should stop accepting leaders imposed on us since they lack qualitative ideas but make wise choices outside the loved political parties. Stop voting parties vote performance
