The publisher, Marshall Cavendish, was interested to publish the Penang Travel Tips guide book, but felt that sales may not be very substantial if we depend purely on traditional bookshops. Marshall Cavendish suggested an initial print run of 2k, but wants me to buy back a thousand to sell on my own. While some people may jump at the offer, I am reluctant to go into any deal that requires me to fork out any money, and will result in me holding half the inventory. So, sorry, perhaps another day.
