I have lost my mind. I went to the fridge and to grab some milk to make a white Russian. I notice the milk is in an odd place, so I rearrange stuff in the fridge so the milk can go where it lives. I then put the milk back in the fridge and proceed to make the white Russian. Except I have no milk. So I go to the fridge, grab the milk again, fix the white Russian, and then engage my roommate in a conversation about the odd places Ive put things in the kitchen -- a spoon drawer full of loose spaghetti, bacon in the spice rack -- and I walk away with my white Russian while the milk still sits on the counter. God damn it, I say, and go put the milk away in the fridge and walk upstairs -- leaving my white Russian on the counter. Im like a one-man Marx brothers routine in which Im simultaneously playing Groucho and Dumont tonight.
