I have many things to be thankful for. It may have taken me fortysome years to truly appreciate my education. This post is not meant to slight anyone who attended public schools. I am just thinking about the sacrifices that many of our parents made for our Catholic educations. While I do have friends whose parents were considered middle class, most of our parents werehard-working class. This makes that sacrifices that they made to make sure we had a chance at a decent life that much greater. There are hundreds of people I could tag who could relate to this. Thank you to all of those before us who struggled to raise and educate families with multiple kids and those like Mr Lewis who took care of the whole village.
