I have mixed feelings about this article. In one sense, I believe absolutely that no matter what a person wears ( or doesnt wear) their clothing choices does not give a man the right to rape them. Of course.... On the other hand...it is foolish to tell our girls or our boys that it doesnt make any difference in how the world perceives them. I mean, everything we say or do and even wear makes a statement about who we are. Or who we want to be. If that wasnt true the advertising world would collapse. The truth is I see many girls walking around town in clothes they should be embarrassed about. I mean if a young woman is wearing leggings so tight and shear that it leaves nothing to the imagination, She is making a statement about how she sees herself. That her worth is about her body. Thats quite sad. Isnt it better to be honest with our kids? Yes, they may have the legal right to wear anything....but, just because they can doesnt mean they should.
