I have much more trust and respect for local govt then I did when I entered the MPA program. I didnt understand the extent of devotion, care, and concern that people who work and who have collaborative partnerships with our local govt entities harbor. We have many unsung heroes in our local govt. I hope someday that citizens can look past the hype and negative press to see all the work and compassion that goes into governing a city like Spokane.
