I have never done anything as challenging as I am now! Going back to learning 10years after I qualified as a hairdresser. It is bringing back memories of being at school staring at a screen wanting my head to explode. Being dyslexic is so hard to cope with, its not just about reading and writing there are so many other factors that are involved that people dont realise about. Planning, organising, time control, word stuttering not being able to find the right words. Being stuck looking at the same sentence for 10mins and not seeing the glaring mistake. Reading a question and having to read 2-6 times just to understand it. The other night it took me 4 hours to answer one question!! But im sticking at it and coping much better than I did all them years ago at school. It may be challenging but soooooo rewarding! Each question is harder than the one before, but im getting there slowly but surely! and I will do it!!! Just bear in mind that just because someone is dyslexic doesnt mean they just cant spell. And before you give your self the excuse I cant spell it means im dyslexic it really isnt always the case.
