I have never had any Palestinian students or colleagues, but I got the chance to have some Jewish students and colleagues. Ive always appreciated the success of my intelligent, hard-working and self-disciplened Jewish students and colleagues. As a teacher, I love all my students and treat them equally no matter what background or origin they come from! They are all a trust of God we should cherish. I had an extra sympathy for my Jewish students, knowing how their grandparents or great-grandparents have perished in the holocaust. However, I also expect them to raise their voice against Israels massacres, and do their best to protect their Palestinian brothers and sisters from the murders of their own regime, which violates the basic tenets of Judaism as well as humanity. Do I expect too much from my Jewish friends and students?
