I have never had fall off the bone turkey until today. I didnt - TopicsExpress

I have never had fall off the bone turkey until today. I didnt have to carve anything, it was great. I poked some holes in it, seasoned it, put some olive oil on it and put it inside the pan upside down. I stuffed it full of mixed greens and stuffing, and cut up potatoes to put in the pan. Inside of cooking it on 350 for 4 hours as the directions stated, I cooked it at 275 for 7-8 hours. After 3.5 hours, I flipped it, poked some holes in it, then seasoned and oiled the top again, then put it back in. After it was finished, I took the potatoes out to make mashed potatoes. I then put the turkey back in, with the oven turned off, and left it there until it was ready to be carved. When I put the fork in the breast to start carving, the whole breast separated from the bone like perfectly cooked Carolina BBQ ribs.
