I have no idea how to buy linen for bed. I have never ever been able to get it right. So usually I do so many years apart. Last time was six years ago when I bought two new sheets and three pillow cases. Twelve years ago I was given two linens for the duvet, and I still have them. It goes without saying, that I am extraordinary careful about my bedsheets. I wash them gently - and of course often - and I try as much as I can to keep an extra blanket on my bed at all times. The last is because my dogs like to sneak on top of my bed at day and night, so I myst be careful that they dont damage. Now that I have a new place to sleep I decided to buy two new sheets and yes; one new linen. So this time I was extra careful, I measured the bed, I asked for help at the shop, I was detailed about what I needed and wanted, I took extra care to watch out for the price. This was a week ago and today I opened the wrappings. I always break out in sweat when doing this. I can handle complicated psychology, scary spiritual experiences, handle tough situtations and develop complicated software. But I cannot buy linen for my bed. I have to return some of the items I bought. Thank God that I know how to boil potatoes and heat sausages. Some simple things are simply too complicated.
