I have not updated on my mom today, because there is not much to report. She is still on the ventilator and resting, with the help of sedatives. This morning she did not have a fever, and she began pulling at her restraints. I went to her and told her that she is okay and that this is the way things have to be for a few days so that she can rest and get the medications she needs to get her well. I told her that I loved her and asked her if she understood and she nodded, then went back to sleep. I was going to post that and then she began to run a fever again. Right now she is breathing some breaths on her own, but most of the work is being done with the ventilator. We should know more within the next day or so. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. And thank you all for your prayers and kind words of encouragement. It means a lot to me, my mom and family. God is the Great Physician, and He is guiding the doctors who are caring for her.
