I have not vented on here in awhile but I was informed this week that I will not be getting a ETS award and my leadership might be doing something but maybe not but it kinda burns my buttons a little!! I have maybe not made rank fast or been a specialist for eight years but I can tell you this ever day I put this uniform on for this country I gave 100% I spent 36 months deployed away from my family!! I spent almost two years recovering from losing some of the best people I know because we are fighting for nothing and getting hurt in the process and not being able to remember that I just took a pic with my sister on her wedding day!! So I can honestly say that this is why the army and these young soldiers are the way they are!!Im not looking for any special treatment Im just saying Im not a shit bag I just chose my path a different way!! So this is what I say about your award you can keep it I know what I did and Im fine with it!!!!
