I have often wondered why people go to church and what they get out of it. Its comfortable, you get to know people and its a feel good experience. Many have been told that they are saved and cannot never be plucked from the hand of God. They hold to this so well, that they never give a second thought to bearing fruit for God and the ultimate consequence of not bearing fruit at all. Becoming a disciple, giving up ones life to do the will of God, runs hand-in-hand with producing good fruit. Discipleship and bearing fruit go together, you cannot have one without the other.
