I have only schadenfreude for this elections Dembot and Obamaton rejection leaving me smirking like Norman Bates at the end of Psycho for their plight. Post-election prediction: El Zero will arrogantly continue to do whatever is his whimsy, Republicans will feign opposition, media will criticize and call them names, Republicans will cave. Republican leadership was born with a genetic defect: no backbone. Despite criminally-contept Eric Holders departure from what is arguably the second most powerful post in giverment, El Zero will continue using DOJ to selectively enforce laws with which he agrees, and to not enforce laws with which he disagrees, as an ex post facto veto of Congress and the Constitution. Media, of course, will not report it. I will sincerely hope all of the victory speeches are not merely the historical boilerplate rhetoric of every victor who came before, but I will not hold my breath that things will change nor improve with the new cabal in Congress. I have been disappointed too many times to have any optimism. Hope, but not optimism. At least Eric Cantor was soundly rejected after promoting illegal alien amnesty BUT that still leaves his ally, the most powerful person in the House of Representatives, John Boehner to pickup THAT battle flag and run with it. John Boehner? Majority Leader?! Really Republicans?!! Is he the best you can do?!!! He is all in for illegal alien amnesty. Dont forget that. I would very much like to be proven wrong, but with the likely Republican leadership hardly representing the average Republican voter, much less any principle besides being elected, I find it more likely to be disappointed by them as the country will continue on its current trajectory. Who knows? Maybe THIS time it will be different.
