I have paid my dues in the north. Was born here, did nursery through to tertiary here. I have seen the best of the north, I have seen the worst of the north. I found my love in writing here and cultivated it as much. I am the last of my family here and I found joy teaching the next generation. But everything that has a beginning has an end. After nearly a quarter of a century, I have come to the end of my northern journey. I cannot thank God enough for a journey so long and rough, yet so rewarding. My thought of the north will always be kind and the memory of the people I met here ever fresh. Thanks all who made this possible. Now am on my way to the east, armed with my call up letter and result, and the future on my lap... Jesus, take the wheel.
